Advantage play (AP) is the practice of identifying short windows where a slot machine has flipped from negative to positive expected value (+EV) — usually because a previous player walked away from a partially completed bonus state, a progressive jackpot has climbed past its breakeven threshold, or a must-hit-by counter is approaching its forced trigger. It's legal, math-driven, and entirely public information. The casinos still earn their hold on average; advantage players just take the playable spots the average player leaves on the table.
